I have an annoying problem -
when I use the TapTempo function on the MorningStar MC8 to change the delay time on my Strymon TimeLine , it takes about 4-5 seconds to the tempo to actually change. Also during this 4-5 seconds it makes a very annoying sound, which makes it IMPOSSIBLE for me to use it when I play live.
Did anyone had to deal with this kind of problem?
BTW - same problem when I use the Strymon Mobius pedal.

Are you using MIDI Clock to set the tempo? If so, that is normal. Most devices would take a few seconds to calculate and sync to a new MIDI clock tempo. During this period, it’s like turning the TIME knob on the Timeline, which gets you that “annoying” sound.
Maybe instead of using MIDI clock, you can try using the CC#93 message to trigger the remote tap on the Timeline.
I saw in the video that the tempo is changing without this issue -
When I touch my tap tempo, it goes to 24BPM and only then going to the desired tempo, which is really weird and makes really bad noise.
