Hello

Thanks for adding me to the forum.

I’m a new MC6 Pro user and having problems using the Long Name within a preset. When I change the long name for switch C or D, it updates the Long Name for switch A and D with only the text “B001 PG1” showing in the Long Name for Switch A and D.

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong here please ?

Looks like the displays are fixed, the first is for the preset name, the second for the bank name and the 3rd for the bank and program name.

How do I change the text on display 3 please ?

Think of display 3 as your INFO panel. This shows you what the pedal is doing and where it is at. First it shows the Bank # and the Page # - very useful as you get deep into lots of presets. It also shows the BPM of tapped tempo and BPM supplied to the unit via MIDI (CC5 & CC6). It also shows the expression pedal % value such as Exp 3 56%.
So you can’t change this as it is always changing for the reasons above.

I get it now, @Bread is probably confusing ‘long name’ and ‘bank name’ which can be edited in the ‘bank’ tab of the editor
