I have the MC six Pro and I tried to connect it to my iPhone 16 with a USB-C cable. It says connection failed and no response from the device. I’ve also tried with the CME widi. It is connected via Bluetooth and I’ve done everything as instructed. But I’m having the same problem that the device is not responding and the connection fails. I can use a USB-C to my Mac computer and everything is fine. But nothing through the app is working on my phone. I have tried installing different versions of the firmware. But that’s not working either. Anyone running into this issue and resolving? MorningStar is not responding to this issue directly so I guess I’m left talking with you and seeing if there is a fix.
I got the widi to work. Found in the manual that the dongle needed to be flipped to type a. Wish they would mention that in their video online. But at least it’s in the manual. Still not connecting via USB-C.
