ML10X Splitter Cable Recs?

Hey all, I’m looking into getting an ML10X for my mono rig and I’d need to split all ten jacks. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the jack splitters Morningstar offers. Does anyone have any recommendations for them?

I’m also nervous about having ten jack splitters on my pedalboard. How has everyone’s experience been with splitting the ML10X inputs?

I haven’t had problems with our standard stereo-to-mono splitters ( this I assume you mean: https://shop.morningstar.io/products/Stereo-to-Mono-Splitter-p473703997 ), but a bunch of those right angles on an ML10X might cause stress and some loose connections, since the jack is a little big.

If you want to try something from our shop, you might consider our Premium Y-cable Assembly, which is a pre-soldered TRS plug going out to two cables you cut to length yourself. You could then solder your own TS plug or buy solderless ones like the plugs in our store:

Y cable: Premium Y Cable Assembly - Shop

TS plug (soldered): SquarePlug SP400BK - Shop

TS plug (solderless): 2-Way Solderless Plug - Shop

Another option is to use pre-made Y cables. I don’t like using splitters and then plugging TS cables into that, because that introduces two more ports (and thus two more discrete failure points), so for cases where I can’t be bothered to make my own cable, I always have a bunch of the EBS ICY-30 and ICY-100 cables around (30cm and 100cm, or ~1ft and 3.3ft, respectively). While these are Right angle on both ends, they’re small enough that you can run them around each other on the ML10X and not stress the connections. I also like the Y cables by Tour Gear Designs, which have circular plugs that fit nicely. Other pre-assembled right-angle Y-cables have been too big to fit, in my experience.
