Hi. Have you had a look at the ML10X User Manual yet? It shows you the basics on signal routing for both Simple and Advanced presets.
Yes I have.I’ve done the Function Test Loop A to E Also midi.The screen just show what I am testing..It doesn’t give the Pass or Fail indication..I think I’ve gotten a bad product.
My midi from the Mc 8 pro to the ml10x works fine..I Just don’t have sound.
My next step is to open the side panel to see if any loose connectors.I read that on the forum.
before you try anything else, can you confirm a couple things?
- make sure USB is unplugged when powering on, because it defaults to USB power, but USB power is not sufficient to power the relays
- make sure in your Controller Settings that Loop Bypass persist is off and that Input Split is off, unless you know why you’re turning them on
- In the online editor (or onboard), set Preset 1 so that it ONLY connects the Input Tip → Output Tip and if you’re in stereo, also the Input Ring → Output Ring . Reset the unit, and see if you get sound.
I set Preset 1 connected input tip and output tip with input ring and output ring
Still no sound.
Could you try opening it up and checking the connections then?
I had opened it but had no idea what I’m looking for.
You’re just looking to see that the connector from each jack into the main board is firmly seated in place and hasn’t been shaken loose somehow.
HEY …yes I done so. I removed all cables from devices and ml10x and then reconnected them.STILL NO SOUND.
