[ML10X Feature Request] Loop "undo" or "revert"

I think the ML10X could be improved greatly by creating some sot of “undo” or “revert” functionality. Basically, there are a lot of times when I want to turn on a specific loop or series of loops for a moment, and then I want to revert back to whatever loops were active before I made that last change. I don’t believe there’s a way to do that today (but happy to learn I’m wrong if anyone knows how to do this).

I think this would add a ton of flexibility and “on the fly” playing with the ML10X–whereas right now, everything has to be programmed ahead of time, and it’s just not always possible to know exactly what you’re going to want in every possible situation that could come up.

Coincidentally, I brought this up the other day with James. Basically, what is needed is a “re-load” message like on the RJM PBC6. In some menus it’s called “same preset”. The MS message that can get you 2/3’s of the way there is “Last Bank/Page”. What is needed is "Last Bank/Page/Preset or a “re-load” message that can be paired up with "Last Bank/Page. This way when a moment of inspiration strikes (for example), you can turn loop(s) on and when that moment is finished, engage a pre-programed aux switch to take you back where you were. Another great case use would be if you accidentally engages a switch not knowing what was stepped on, the “re-load” message can take you back much like an “escape” button.

I have a work-around that is ok but not great. I’ve programmed a “loops” bank on my MC6 Pro that has each loop/pedal that’s on the ML10X programmed to 1 preset each much like stomp-box mode. All other presets in other banks on my MC6 Pro are linked to the “loops” bank with “engage” messages for the loops i want on in the “loops” bank. In addition, these MC6 Pro presets recall presets on the ML10X with the loops I want to start of with. Then when I want to engage additional loops, I have an aux switch that takes me to my “loops” bank with a double-tap where I can turn on additional loops, then on that same aux switch I have a “last bank/page used” message that gets me back with a single press. Then when I’m back, I re-engage the ML10X preset that did NOT include the additional loops and now I’m re-loaded. Yes, I think “re-load” is much much needed.

Thanks for sharing your use case and workaround. I also have a “stompbox” bank programmed, but as you say “re-load” or “revert” functionality would cover much more than what you’re able to do with workarounds. Hopefully it’s something that can be put on the development roadmap!
