Just bought the ML5 and I have great expectations with MIDI switching.
A noob question: I don’t have the device with me at the moment but I would like to prepare the CC messages upfront from a MIDI track in Reaper 7. So for, this is not a success, to say the least. Shall I have the device plugged-in first to access the loops# or do I miss something in Reaper. Thanks for your help!
Hi,
first you’ll need a driver that supports MIDI. I’d recommend ASIO for All.
You’ll also need some sort of MIDI interface.
Install the driver and choose your interface as MIDI in/out under options/preferences.
