I am new to Midi and Midi controler and here is my issue:
My midi signal is simple and goes like this MC6 PRO → hxstomp in → hxstomp out → one control dual loop in.
As you can guess, there is no midi out from the one control so I can’t go back to the MC6.
In this scenario, I can’t use the sync between MC6 and HX stomp to have the MC6 banks going up and down when the presets on the HXstomp also go up and down (with the external footswitch 4 and 5 pedal). Which is an important feature for me.
My question is:
How can I have a loop with the HXstomp if at the end of my midi chain I have a device with only midi in?
Can this device be controlled thru omniports or mini trs out from the MC6? (the one control only takes PC and CC, no relay)
From my little understanding, only one midi loop can works from the MC6 so I guess it’s not possible to have a loop for the din5 and another loop for the trs mini midi.

Hi, welcome! You can use the 3.5mm midi out or one of the omniports to connect the Pro directly to the One box.
For the former, you’d need this sort of thing: 3.5mm TRS to DIN5 Adaptor and then a normal 5pin DIN MIDI cable.
For the latter (assuming the One box has a properly isolated 5 pin DIN per There is MIDI Noise in my Audio signal) I think a cable like this should work: https://amzn.eu/d/7EwPIqg
You would need to configure the omniport as required per “Switchable TRS MIDI Configuration” section of MC6 PRO

Actually I tried the option to have 3.5min to 5DIN going out of the MC6 to the One Contol box and it didn’t work. I guess that the Midi message was only sent in the DIN5 loop with the HX stomp.
However I worked my way around my issue. I kept the daisy chain MC6 → HX STOMP → One Control, and connected my external dual footswitch (that was in the exp port of the Stomp) to omniport 1. Then in the editor I programmed my preset G and H to emulate footswitch 4 and 5 for Up and Down in the HXstomp and the MC6 at the same time. The only bummer with this solution is that I have to program preset G and H to each bank, but nothing very complicated.

Glad it’s working! When you tried the 3.5mm output, did you set the One box to a unique midi channel and send messages to that channel only? Because as far as I know that’s all that should need to be done…
I guess what I’m asking really is: are the stomp and the one box on different midi channels?
Yep, HXstomp is channel 1 and the One box is channel 8.
I think that I would have avoided all those issues if I had bought the Gig Rig Remotest Loopy 2 instead of this One Control box. Gig Rig had midi in and out or even a TRS remote input that could have been used with a TRS cable via an omniport to engage/disengage the loops.
But at least my rig isworking!
Yes, that’s the main thing! You can triple click in the editor to paste a preset to all banks FYI. Or create an empty template bank populated with stuff you need in every bank and copy that when creating a new bank
