MIDI Clock sent from Elektron Digitakt to MC6 Pro MIDI In not relayed on MIDI Out to Source Audio Nemesis

I am a new MC6 Pro user. I am having difficulty getting my pedals synced to the MIDI clock of my Elektron Digitakt via the MC6 Pro. I have stripped back the setup to isolate the problem. When I connect the Digitakt to the Source Audio Nemesis using a 5 pin DIN, the MIDI clock is received OK. However, when I connect the Digitakt to the MC6 Pro with 5 pin DIN, then the MC6 Pro to the Nemesis also with 5 pin DIN, the BPM shows (in black and not flashing) correctly on the MC6 Pro, but the Nemesis doesn’t receive the MIDI clock.

I have followed the advice such as disconnecting from the Morningstar editor, deselecting the MIDI clock ports in General Configuration settings and restarted the device. I even did a factory reset. I’m using the latest firmware 3.13.

PC and CC messages are sent fine so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I’ve read here that others have experienced MIDI clock issues with older firmware. Can anyone help?

When the MC6 is slaved to another MIDI clock, it doesn’t regenerate that clock, it just passes it forward, so you’ll want to make sure that your MIDI thru settings are correct.

So, if you’re connecting DIN to DIN, you’ll want to make sure that DIN thru includes the DIN output:

Thank you. That fixed the problem.
