Hi,
new here and new to Morningstar. I have two H9s and a Hologram Microcosm that I control with an MC8. I’ve managed to set up a way to scroll through the presets on the H9s using a [Preset +], and [Preset -] switch, but I see no increment/decrement preset CC# in the Microcosm‘s MIDI implementation. Apparently, all I can do is send individual Program Change messages with a switch, but there are over 60 presets in the machine.
Is there a way?

Set your min and max values for the counter and then call them using messages set to increment or decrement the pc scroll counter you’ve just set up: https://morningstarengineering.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MMS/pages/181698784/MIDI+Type+Glossary#PC-Number-Scroll

How are you liking the Microcosm? It’s random nature is fun and exciting, but it’s been a rewarding challenge to try to tame it and make it more controllable/predictable. It’s like reverse engineering the algorithms in your mind…

Love the Microcosm to bits, Quasar. When playing on your own, as I sometimes do, there’s nothing like a bit of controlled (and somewhat controllable) chaos to accompany you. It’s like a demented robot friend… 
Hi! I have the same problem, used the instructions here but i think my Microcosm Counter is set up incorrectly. Start Value ? Min ? Max?

Hi… what’s the lowest / smallest PC number you want to send to your Microcosm? Add that as Starting and Minimum value in your scroll counter.
What’s the highest / largest PC number you want to send to your Microcosm? Add that as Maximum value in your scroll counter.
When done, save the scroll counter and reboot the controller.
