I have a problem I can’t solve.
I tried to program a key to scroll through several Program Changes (PC).
Msg1 release/PC#
Msg2 release/rename preset
Msg3 change the color of text
Etc.
You can choose to scroll through 8 presets with the “set number of messages to scroll” option.
The problem I’m having is that only 3 are taken into account.

I think number of messages to scroll should be set to three! This will execute Msg1-Msg3 on first press, Msg4-Msg6 on second press and so forth.
No. Sorry, that’s not the case. I thought of that too. So I tried with 8,7,6,5,4,3…and it’s still the same. But even if I put it on 3, it selects 3 presets for me. The 3,5 and the 8th.
Can you post a screenshot of your preset, and ill take a look

Your last message should be press, not “on first engage”. The message scroll number should be 3

Because there is 3 messages per PC change? It has nothing to do with the number ob PC change, am i right?
It is a group of 3, so it has to be 3. But the big problem was on first enter action

I’m going to copy all my modulation to 2 switches… Because, you know, I have quite a few effects that I use. So, with what we’ve seen, I’d like to copy the chorus and phasers to one switch… and the tremolos and Leslie to the next switch.
Now I just need to make sure that I visually know where I am. That the active modulation effect has the background color turned on.
With toggle rest group?
My bad that has been advice from me. Didn’t know that! So in principle the number of messages is set for every release action individually!?
If you want a set of 3 messages to scroll it has to be 3. 4 it has to be 4 etc.
It will scroll through the inputted number as selected by the message scroll number. In order to be in sync the numebr of messages in the “set” has to be the same number, even if you have to put an empty release message in the set
Sure, but what if I programm the ‘set number’ to release? Apparently ‘set number’ isn’t stored, that’s why ‘on first engage doesn’t work. In principle it should be possible to go like this:
Msg1 release/ set number 2
Msg2 x
Msg3 y
Msg4 release/ set number 3
Msg5 x
Msg6 y
Msg7 z

Hello.
I have a bank with 1 clean and 4 drives.
When I enter the bank, there’s no background or colored strip. Just the text in white.
When I select a “drive channel or the clean,” I made the background light up.
With a second “press,” I activate the boost on this same OD pedal. The background, then is ON as is strip, indicating that the boost is active.
These are the A to E buttons. This all works perfectly.
Now I’m having a problem.
I have 3 chorus effects and 3 phasers from my Walrus M1 on the F button, and I have 3 tremolos and 3 Leslies from this same Walrus M1 pedal on the E button.
A long press activates or deactivates the effect. It works.
When I select one of the effects with the F button, the background lights up. When I then select one of the effects with the E button, the F background turns off. That works. I’ve programmed two messages for this.
For example, for preset F:
Message # 25
Press-set~> toggle~>pos.1
Unshift~> button G
Message #26
On Dis-engage~>utility~>pos. Both
“set selected preset/background color~>pos. Both”
Preset selected F background color black text color etc..
Etc…
I did all this by trial and error because I’m not at all sure it’s the right way.
When I press one of the drive channels again, the backgrounds of the F and G keys turn off… Which I don’t want. I would like the background of the selected effect to remain lit.

You probably have toggle reset group on for those 2 preset

Yes toggle reset group was active. I have deactivate this now, but it changes noghing.
Then i erase this 2 messages (see picture ). Now it works, the background no longer disappear but both are on. So it’s the same mistake bit 180 degrés opposite. I can’t see anymore wich modulation is selected.
