Message scroll out of sync

Hello,

Could someone help me?
I’m having a synchronization issue with my preset H involving message scrolling.
I have a test preset with three PC# changes.
I programmed it as follows:

  • release - send program change - PC #1 - Pos1
  • release - trigger message #31 - pos. Both
  • release - set toggle - disengage toggle H
  • release - preset rename - both - short name - load original name = no - the name
  • ​​release - send program change - PC #4 - Pos. Both
  • release - trigger message #31 - Pos.Both
  • release - set toggle - disengage toggle H
  • release - preset rename - both - short name - load original name = no - the name
  • release - send program change - PC #7 - Pos. Both
  • release - trigger message #31 - pos. Both
  • release - set toggle - disengage toggle H
  • release - preset rename - both - short name - load original name = no - the name

Message 29 : Press - utility -manage preset message scroll - set # message to scroll = 4

Message 30: Long Press - Pos1 - CC#31 - Value 127 (pedal ON)
Message 31: Long Press - Pos - CC#31 - Value 0 (pedal OFF)
Message 32: Long Press - toggle preset - Pos. Both

Every time I select a different sound via “release,” the pedal is supposed to turn off (Trigger message #31).

Then I turn it on or off using a “long press” action, but at some point, it goes out of sync. The displayed effect name no longer matches the programmed one; things get out of alignment.
What is causing this?

I feel like I don’t have anything excessive in my setup, yet I run into issues the moment I turn the pedal on or off using a long press.

I see that one of them is on position:1. Message scroll only walks through the messages it can “see.” So if you’re in position:2, it will act as if that position:1 message never existed.

Why does that one have to be in position 1?

Yes you are right. It was a mistake.

I real, it was on both..

I have noticed something very weird…

Bank 1 works great… Everything what is programmed works as I have programmed it.

I have copied this entire bank to bank 17. So 17 is EXCATLY the same as bank one. But I noticed some weird differences.

With bank 1 I can:

Scroll through different sound of my walrus audio M1 and rename it at the same time. Everytime that I scroll to I another one, a trigger message shuts the pedal of. It allows me to put it off rapidly and go to the next one programmed.

2 long press - set toggle actions allows me to turn it Off or On.

Every works fine in bank one. In bank 17 the synchonisation is not perfect.

For example, the long press set toggle doesn’t work. The strip on MC8 pro goes On but the pedal still is Off.

I can’t understand why.

Another weird thing is when I look at the midi monitor.

Everything is correct and the same in bank 1 AND 17…

Any idea?
