Mc8pro bank down with only 1 bank in custom bank sequence causes bank 1 to jump to bank 128

Hi there,

I think this is a bug or unexpected behaviour:

  1. Enable Follow Custom Bank Sequence.
  2. Remove all Banks from Custom Bank Sequence except for Bank 1.
  3. Save Settings.
  4. Disconnect from Editor.
  5. Press A+B

Expected behaviour: Bank does not change.
Observed behaviour: Bank changes.

MC8PRO FW v3.13.6

I performed a full factory reset and reset all and current profiles.

If I only have 1 bank in the Custom Bank Sequence, if I press A+B, the bank will jump to Bank 128. This is confusing to me. Continuing to press A+B causes the Bank to rotate between 1 and 128.

If I’m in Bank 1, press C+D, there is no change, which is what I expect. When I am in Bank 128, press C+D, Bank 128 wraps to Bank 1.

Kinda related:
Instead of only having bank 1, I only have bank 2 in custom sequence. when i restart the mc8pro, it shows bank 1 is selected, but bank 2 presets are shown.

I know this isn’t a typical use case, but thought I’d throw it here.

Additionally, when I tried to restore the Controller Backup, it appeared as if the backup didn’t work until I disabled Custom Bank Sequence, then the settings came back.
