When is it going to be released? Pedalboard planning in-process. Can we get dimensions/features ahead of release?

As far as release I believe James is still targeting April. But all that’s pending supply/etc.

So we’ve already got the enclosures and LCDs. PCBs have started fabrication in Feb and awaiting assembly. Hopefully we can get it by end April, if not it should be early May.

Any news to share James? 
the boards are still getting assembled - it is 50% done. Based on experience, this should take another 2-3 weeks for us to get it.
Besides this main board, the enclosures are all already being assembled with the switches and LCDs at our shop .

Really hoping it comes this month and is priced at $449 at most, as they said they don’t want to sell a $500 MIDI controller. I don’t know if I should get an MC6 Pro now or wait potentially a tad longer.

@james have you considered an option to disable the fixed two-button bank up/down and page toggling? I am using an aux switch with dedicated buttons for those functions as I find it easier to press a single button, and I can imagine a scenario where it might be useful for me to activate two switches at a time for their user-programmed functions instead. This could apply to all of the controllers.

Yeah, that would be great for me also.
Yes that is possible with the dual switch lock option in the controller settings. You can also set switch sensitivity to the highest setting (5) and it will have the same effect.
It won’t be $500 for sure. MC6 PRO is $349, so adding larger LCDs (and an additional LCD), 2 more switches, bluetooth, larger size should bring us to low 4s.
I appreciate the patience for this! I know we said Sept 2024 launch, and then April 2025. I’d hate to give another estimate but we should be receiving the boards this month, hopefully in 2 weeks or less.

Hi @james, does MC8-PRO offer OSC support?
Not that I’m aware of.
There’s currently no OSC support.
It’s an interesting idea, but I’m not sure what the practical way to implement it would be. Every OSC application I’ve seen is implemented over a tcp/ip network. So the MC8 Pro would need network connectivity somehow.
