I recently (less than a month) bought an ML10X and MC8pro. I’ve been wrapping my head around midi programming etc. The learning curve is definitely a challenge especially for a newbie in midi. I have gotten the looper to work great and the MC8pro to work as well (still learning) but i am frustrated with switch B on my MC8pro. It does not tap or double tap like the other switches. I have to tap many times to engage it. It seems sticky compared to the other switches that have a smooth feel to them. How do i go about rectifying this? I don’t use the unit on the floor. I have it on a pedal board mounted to a keyboard stand and i use my hands to engage the switches.
Thanks
Hi. Sorry to hear about this. May I just confirm that you have copied and pasted the exact same preset settings as other switches to switch B, and you are experiencing this? Just want to rule out any switch programming causes.
If that is the case, please send us an email and we will make sure you are taken care of
Hi
Thanks for the quick reply. Yes they are the same preset settings. I’m programming the MC8pro to switch presets on a BOSS IR200. Using the double tap to put the presets into bypass. I notice the B switch feels different. Sometimes the double tap works sometimes it takes multiple double taps to get switch B to work. The other switches feel cleaner and engage with double tap on first try.
