I’m looking into getting an MC8 Pro but was just curious how the Page Up / Page Down / and Toggle Page functions work and was hoping someone who has one could explain.
If I’m on Page 1, would hitting buttons E + F to trigger the Page Down command bring me to Page 3? or does it stop at Page 1? I could see that being useful in that if I’m on page 1 I’m always only 1 press away from either Page 2 or Page 3
Also, from checking out the manual, my understanding of the “Toggle Page” command is that it’s essentially the same as “Page Up”, but it can be limited to only toggle between a selection of available pages. Is that correct?
The way it currently works, the pages wrap-around endlessly in both directions. So page-down from 1 goes to 3, and page-up from 3 goes to 1.
Toggle Page effectively works the same way as page up right now, incrementing up by 1. The page limit affects all three combinations, so if you limit to 1 or 2 pages, you can only get to the remaining pages via manual page jumps (programmed into a preset).

You can make any button and its different states do whatever you want it to do. It’s all about choice. There is a basic page up and down as well as bank up or down…..but you could make every button do the exact same thing….in case you wish you only had 1 button.
