MC8 not passing Midi Clock

I have a Disaster Area micro clock into midi in. The MC8 is correctly reading the micro clock and I can see the tempo BPMs match, it is showed in the lower right side of the MC 8. The MC 8 is sending PC messages to a Timeline and Boss VE 500 and they are responding correctly. However, midi clock is not being sent, despite the MC8 showing the same BMP as the micro clock. I have midi clock persist enabled in the MC8 controller settings. On the Timeline, I have midi clock enabled. I previously used the same configuration with an MC6 controller and had no issues with this on any pedals.

Any thoughts? What am I doing wrong ?Do i need to send a msesage from each bank?

Update: I had not selected the Midi Thru 5 pin DIN. It is passing clock now.

Check whether MIDI Clock Through is actually enabled, not just Clock Persist. Those are separate settings on the MC8. Persist keeps the clock running across preset changes, but Through is what actually passes the incoming clock from your micro clock out to the Timeline. That’s the one that usually catches people moving from the MC6.
