I don’t know if this is the correct place to post this but am looking for anyone who can help. I just received my brand new MC8 Pro direct from Morningstar and powered it up for the first time about a hour after getting it and there appears to be a crack in the LED panel on the 3rd screen from the left. The outer glass isn’t cracked and the unit when off shows no signs of physical damage but you can see from the pics that the broken screen makes the unit unusable. I emailed help@morningstarfx.com but wanted to make sure there wasn’t anything else I needed to do. Thanks!

Hi James, thanks so much for the reply. I am more than happy to pay a bit more to have this sent via FedEd instead of DHL or to have the unit shipped with extra packing material. I do suspect this may have been mishandling of the package by DHL but it was only in a small box which could have also been the issue. In any case I really appreciate the quick response!
This message is for James, Gary, Kristine and anyone else on the Morningstar team that assisted me. When I received my new MC8 and realized after plugging it in that the screen was broken, my hear sank. I have been admiring your tech for about five years now so my anticipation was pretty high, especially since the MC8 is my very first midi controller. To make a long story short your team is phenomenal! Within a week of receiving the broken unit I had a replacement at my doorstep and all four screens look crisp and absolutely perfect. I couldn’t be happier. Your communication was prompt and put my mind at ease. You know you have hit the top when the quality of your customer service matches the quality of your products. I plan to get the broken unit sent back to as quickly as I can. Thanks for the return shipping label and for all your help. I look forward to getting all my midi enabled pedals connected and diving into the MC8. - Rob
