Hi all, just getting my MC6 Pro set up & I’m considering either an ML5 or MC10x to go along with it… I just have one (possibly dumb) question: Is it possible to have the ML5/ML10x return information to the MC6 Pro about which loops are active?
For example let’s say I set up a preset in the MC6 Pro that toggles on loops 1 and 2, and another that activates loops 3 and 4. I wouldn’t want loops 1 and 2 to remain on when i switch, but how would the MC6 Pro know that these loops are on and need to be switched off? Would I need to essentially set every preset up to toggle all loops off and then turn on the desired loops?
There could also be situations where I have lets say loops 1, 3 & 5 on, and want to turn off loop 1 and turn on loop 2 - If i have to send a message that turns all the loops off then turns on 2, 3 & 5 that would be problematic if loop 5 was a delay or reverb or something.
Essentially what I’m after is a way for the MC6 Pro to only change the loops that need to be changed, if that makes sense. Seems to me it would need input from the loop switcher to accomplish that.
