MC6 PRO User Preset List

Hi everybody,
I’m wondering if there is a User Preset list from where I could copy a preset and paste it in every bank I need.
I hope it’s not a stupid question and thanks in advance for your reply

MIDI Dictionary has presets for some devices.
It’s the menu along the top of the editor.

I think this is what you are looking for

Thank you for your answers, but I’m actually looking for a list of presets (not divided by banks) inside the MC6PRO editor.
I’m setting a guitar rack with multiple effects ( pedals and racks). I would like to save in a list my “most used sounds” in order to paste them in every bank I want without the need to make again from zero.

Maybe make a template bank containing the presets and messages etc you need and then copy them into the bank you’re working on?

You can copy and paste a preset
Or you can download/upload it

Yes, it’s what I’m doing now, but it’s unpractical! A simple list in a different window would be the best solution imho.

@GuyaGuy
For copying and paste a preset I have to remember in what bank it is, scrolling the bank list. I’ll try with the download/upload solution, thank you.

You can build up a list in the Setlist manager:
https://editor.morningstar.io/mcgen2-setlist-manager

Afterwhich, download and save the file.

Whenever you need a template, just open the Setlist manager and load the file:

Select the desired preset, and then click on Copy:

You’ll be able to paste it into the editor:

You could just put every preset you’d ever want into a bank or two (like the last few banks)… then use trigger msg or engage preset in the banks you’ll actually use. Then you don’t have to any copying or anything. You can just trigger the messages you want by pointing the one instance of the actual midi information you program that one time… I guess there are a ton of ways to do it.

Thank you everybody! The MC6PRO is a powerful beast and even if you can manage midi, can be tricky for the fist period of use.
