MC6 Pro midi thru- Bug or user error?

Hello!

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but I can’t find an answer.

The short version-
I have an MC8 connected to a downstream MC6 pro via a Din5 cable, then to all my effects.

MIDI thru works just fine for all of my regular midi signals (channels 1-16), but the MC6pro doesn’t seem to pass along the ML10X-type message signals.Then I remove the MC6 and things work again.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Am I doing something wrong?

I have the DIN5 MIDI thru setting set for DIN5 output.

I had this issue on an older firmware version of the MC6 Pro but it was fixed.
What version are you running?

Thank you! I’m using version 3.11.2. Is that what you’re using now? I see there is a manual for 3.12 BETA but I don’t see that version in the firmware download folder.

Just checked - Yes, there is a bug in the v3.11 firmware related to this.
Fixed in v3.12 which is currently in beta: MC6 PRO v3.12 beta firmware - #88 by james
Be sure to read the steps to do after updating if you are planning to give it a go.
