MC6 Pro Midi Clock Persist and other Midi Clock Issues

Hi all, new user here so forgive me if this has already been posted elsewhere.

I’ve got an MC6 Pro and I’m trying to use it as a midi clock source to sync a Digitakt 2 (DT2). The DT2 needs to receive a transport message AND midi clock in order to play properly, however I’m having a real issue achieving this; I’m not sure if it’s my lack of understanding, bugs, or both. Should I just use the DT2 as Midi Clock Source and configure the MC6 Pro to adjust the DT2 tempo?

Ignore Midi Clock = True
Midi Clock Persist = (tried both on and off)

I’m also confused by this note regarding Midi Clock messages in the manual: “Please note that this message does not work while you are in Editor Mode. Toggle out of Editor Mode to enable the full functionalities of this message.”

Controller Firmware Version: Firmware v3.13.0.250310537
Editor Firmware Version: Editor Build v1.3.11.250313037

Thanks!

Hi, this stops the MC to adjust it’s internal clock to incoming clock signals.
Useful for example if you created a loop back by connecting midi in and out of a device to the MC while sending clock by the MC.

If it’s ‘on’ the MC stops sending clock if you engage a different preset on the MC.

That simply means that the MC doesn’t send clock while it is connected to the editor
