MC6 AUX Switch needs "intermittent / random" Two Presses to Engage?

Hi all again !

Hope all are well.

I have a Digitech FS3X 3 x FSW Attached to EXP 1 on my MC6 and 3 EFX assigned to it.

FSW 1 [ G ] is Tuner = works perfectly
FSW 2 [ H ] is Delay on/off = works quirky / inconsistently
FSW 3 [ I ] is +4db Boost = works perfectly

Please see the Pic Below for FSW 2 [ I ] - I have a Delay on/off assigned to it.

The issue ?

=> erratically / intermittently, it activates the Delay with the normal single FSW press … but then, randomly, as I move from Preset to Preset and then need my Delay, sometimes it will trigger with the normal single FSW press and then for no obvious reason, it will need 2 separate FSW presses to engage the Delay ?

I have moved it to both FSW [ G ] and FSW [ I ] to test of if physical FSW is the issue, and the problems persists.

Any thoughts / suggestions ?

My sincere thanks again.
Ben

… oh … and I have triple-checked and CC #118 is not being used or assigned to anything else

Hi,
is it a Boss delay by chance?

No. Just a basic software delay I’m running on an iPad Air M1 via the MC6 MKII into an IK Multimedia iRig Duo Pro Audio/Midi interface.

Running a stack of other software effects etc… on/off … changing settings etc… and just this one is not consistent.

Preset H is set to toggle between CC#118 value 0 and CC#118 value 127 (I’m assuming 127 is engage and 0 is bypass), and because Preset H is set to toggle, it might be in the wrong toggle position when you actually need it. Could that be the case?

Hey James !

Got it in one !!

I did as you suggested. I reversed the 127 with the 0 and the 0 with the 127 … so Position 1 is now 127 and Position 2 is now 0 - works perfectly !!!

Huge thanks again for such an amazing product and such awesome customer support !!!

My sincere thanks and all the best,
Ben
