MC6 as a momentary switch

I have a non-midi pedal that can be turned on via a normal momentary footswitch. Is it possible to use the MC6 to simulate that functionality via an omniport somehow, or would I need the relay interface?

The MC6 can be used as a way of simulating the function of a momentary footswitch through the omniport without the relay interface. The omniport of the MC6 can be made to work like an external switch output. Simply, adjust the omniport to the ‘Momentary’ mode using the Morningstar Editor, and then simply connect it with a compatible TRS or TS cable (according to your pedal’s requirements). The MC6 now will route the power on/off of the non-MIDI pedal, thus producing the same effect as that of a traditional momentary footswitch would do.
