Can anybody recommend a 9H hardened glass screen protector that perfectly fits the MC4 Pro? Ideally an amazon link. Thank you!
IIRC the MC4 Pro should have a glass plate above the screen. If that plate cracks, you should be able to source a replacement at a local glass store.
It’s not a touch screen, so any type of protector including plexiglass would do.
Granted, but I’d rather not go to all that trouble of replacing the glass when I could just put a screen protector over it. I previously had a MC6 Pro and the glass plate was scratched after barely a week. Not enough to bother replacing it, but noticeable enough to be annoying. I’d rather avoid that this time around.
Plexiglass won’t adhere to the screen itself. I’m just looking for a simple self adhesive glass screen protector. I measured it and it’s 3.75" diagonal. Or 3 1/8" wide and 2 1/4" tall (80mm x 56mm). I could get something made for it, but surely something exists that would fit.
I’m also surprised there is no offer for this. I have just cut down a spare phone protector as an interim as that screen is inviting damage.
I would recommend an acrylic screen protector by Chad Boston. It’s not listed on his website yet but just place an order for MC6 Pro screen protector ($19.99 US) and add a note requesting an MC4 Pro screen protector. It’s crystal clear, thick and heavy duty but it gives me peace of mind at gigs so I can stomp on it and not worry about accidentally damaging the screen.
