Hi, I’m facing the following issue:

The use case:

On entering bank I have 2 type of messages, MIDI clock start and Engage Preset with following parameters:

Event: On Enter Bank

Type: Engage Preset

Bank Number: Current Bank

Preset: A

Action: Press

The preset I want to engage on entering the bank is sending PC messages on a “press” action and it is part of a toggle reset group.

The actual behavior on entering the bank is:

  • MIDI clock starts,

  • Preset gets engaged and visually in position 2

  • No PC messages on a action press are sent

After several hours trying to make it work sending an action “press” to force the action, I noticed that the 2nd time I enter to the bank it works but only when I have added a “no action” in the messages of the preset.

I see there is another conversation already on this topic but they stop replying and I really need this to work.

I hope there could be a fix on this.

as a quick fix you could just send the pc message ‘on enter’.

Thank you! I also thought about doing that. The thing is, I have more than 60 banks where I want this to work, so it’s a pain to add the same PC messages on bank enter like in the presets, especially since I can’t just copy them from the preset and paste it in the bank messages.

It’s actually easier to just add a “No Action” on press for the preset I want to engage to make it work. I think I just got lucky finding this “solution”.
