MC1 Pro? One button footswitch for multifunction

Hello, new user here. Got the MC8 Pro for my HX Stomp set up. Love it, once I got the lingo for programming I had my whole setlist made very fast.

The MC4 too much for set up but I would like a one button footswitch to toggle boost in/out. Currently looking for pedals for omniports for that. Don’t want to have power connected as hate too many wires, but do want a light to indicate position. There are some midi pedals as well but mostly from Amazon sellers and I dont know the companies.

Then had a thought that it would be cool to have a MC1 Pro. 2 midi ports and 1 exp? Having to hook power up to it is worth the inconvenience of wires. The visuals you get from the Pro series is perfect for a one button multi function pedal.

Why not just connect an external switch to the mc8 and program it to one of the 24 presets?

if not, there is the midi baby from disaster area that fits what your looking for. No screen, but does have a multi colored LED.

That’s the current idea. Midi Baby is #1 on the list, but I found two other companies called Paint Auio and DoreMidi. Both offer one button and are much cheaper, though untested but community seems to say its ok. I’ll probably grab a TRS footswitch but I just thought it would be cool for a MC1 Pro. Its the visuals.
