Forgive the rats nest, I’m new to midi, trying proof of concept before I get proper cabling, etc. I’m having trouble finding information on how to connect the ML 5 to the MC Pro 6. I’m using the out of the MC 6 to my EVH 5150iii for channel switching, and the side 3.5 to my Captor X to change cabs between the channels. How do I connect the MC 6 the ML 5 with the remaining ports? Thanks for any advice!

You can daisy chain the ML5 and the amp if you want to use the 5 pin din out of th MC. Just make sure you set every device to its own channel.
MC out > ML5 in > ML5 out > amp in.
If you want to use an omniport, you’d need an 5pin to trs midi adapter. Be aware that there are different types of adapters. Type A is the most commonly used.
Make sure that the omniport is configured to midi out and to the correct type, corresponding to the cable you are using.
