Can the Luminite EC controller be paired with the MC8 Pro?
I’ve been looking at small wireless controllers and the EC fits the bill on paper.
No it can’t. The EC can only be paired with Luminite controllers.

Thanks for the swift reply. That’s disappointing. I guess the pairing relies on one side activating it?
The EC controller doesn’t use Bluetooth; it uses a proprietary encrypted 2.4gHz signal only used by Luminite controllers.
If you were really interested in using their control scheme, you could potentially use the Luminite M1 as a receiver of sorts and have it trigger stuff on the Morningstar controller.
I just wanted a small wireless midi button for when I’m not at my board. I don’t want to change ecosystem as love the Morningstar system.
What you can do is get a Luminite M1 controller and connect it to the Morningstar via USB and they will be able to talk to each other. From there, you just set the wireless controllers to send CC messages to the Morningstar (or whatever other device you want to control).
