Loop sending in mono and returning in stereo

I still have some questions after watching the resources for the ML10X and want help understanding if this is possible the way I want to set up my board.

In my setup, loops A to D are mono with the y-splitter cables. For loop E, I want to send it mono to the left input of a Walrus Audio M1, chain that stereo to Walrus Audio D1 and then R1 stereo, then have it return in loop E return and go stereo out of the ML10X output to a dual mono output box to go to two amps. I have TRS to dual TS cables that I thought in theory would work by connecting from the two R1 outputs back to TRS loop E return and then TRS out of ML10X output to dual mono output box, but I got confused with trying to wire it in advanced mode.

More simply put, I want loop E send to be mono to a pedal, become stereo going to two other pedals, then return to E stereo and be output from the ML10x in stereo to dual mono.

If that’s possible, I’m trying to visualize how that works itself out in the editor.

Hi. It sounds possible. As long as the M1 supports splitting a mono input into stereo, you will be able to achieved what you stated. As you correctly mentioned, you’ll need to use a Stereo to Mono cable to connect the R1 L+R outputs to the ML10X Return E, and one more for the ML10X Output to your dual mono output box.

Awesome, that’s what I’m looking for. The arrow direction confused me a little when I was trying to configure the signal path as I didn’t know what to do with the input into the E loop, or basically if E ring could go to output ring since there’s no arrow into it. But this is great, thanks so much!
