How is this set up in Editor for MC6 Pro
Use ‘release’ instead of ‘press’.
Thanks. Grok said that there is an ignore press on long press setting in Editor. For the life of me I could not find.
cuz Grok hallucinated it.
Good thing I didn’t rely on it for court purposes! Grok sometimes uncovers obscure technical info but then it can totally make something up like this. It even said could do it on the device itself but when I pushed the buttons it said to push there the elusive ignore press on long press setting did not appear.
Suggestion: maybe such an option could be useful for future update since press and long press can trigger the same behavior.
If you have a Press and Long Press action in your Preset, and you want to execute either/or, then the only way to do that would be to Release the switch, so that the controller knows that a Long Press is not going to be triggered, and that would be the same as pairing a Release and Long Press together.
