Long Press does not appear to be functioning properly on my MC8

From what I understand in the documentation the “Long Press” option is supposed to trigger the event as soon as the time limit for the “Long Press” is reached without needing to release the footswitch. For some reason any actions that I map to “Long Press” don’t seem to trigger until I release the footswitch (Which I thought was how “Long Press Release” was supposed to behave)

I am new to using the MC8 so I’m not 100% sure this is actually a bug or if I just don’t know how to make it do what I want yet, but based on what the documentation says and what I see everyone else saying online this functionality seems to be broken.

Note: The action I am trying to perform is a “Bank Jump”

Anyone else run into this and find a way to resolve it?

You are right in your thinking but you ran into one of the only exceptions :laughing: Bank changes always trigger last after everything else.

Okay I thanks! I think I found what I needed after searching around a bit more. I just need to make the display show something different when it detects the long press so I know I can let go
