Long press action not being triggered until released

I just got my MC4p today and got to work. Among other things I updated to the latest firmware (v3.13.6.260204422). I have a simple preset thats supposed to do a bank jump on Long press, but it might as well be called long press release - as it doesn’t fire the action until I release the footswitch. I could be holding it for 2 minutes and nothing will happen until its released.

Am I missing something? Is this a bug?

Most Long Press commands fire as soon as it’s clearly a long press. Bank Jumps are the exception, because the device needs to finish running all other commands associated with that action before going to the new bank.

If that feels funny to you, consider double tap as the trigger. Alternately, I sometimes add a preset rename to “Jump!” on long press or something like that to show me that it’s been triggered.
