I have 9 uafx pedals, all controlled via midi.
I am using mc8 pro host port to connect to a usb hub. But the controller is capable in handling only a maximum of 4 pedals. Is there an alternative, or a new release that deals with more than 4 usb devices?
We have looked into this request. Unfortunately, increasing the maximum number of supported USB MIDI host devices would require significantly more memory to be reserved by the firmware.
While there is currently enough memory to support this change, doing so would substantially reduce the available memory for future features and enhancements. We need to preserve sufficient headroom to continue developing the firmware and adding new functionality over time.
For that reason, we’ve decided not to increase the USB host device limit at this time. We appreciate your understanding.
