Thanks for welcoming me. I currently have a mc6 mkII I use it to control 5 pedals . I was wondering has anyone used the lehle mono volume s? It has midi via USBC to control a sweep. I’d like to use this to control my gfi synesthesia wah sound but I’m not sure how to connect it. Does anyone connect any other pedals with USBC to the morningstar? I think I’ve worked out how it needs to be routed etc but not entirely sure what to get for physically connecting it.
Did anyone have any success with this? Considering getting one for my MC-8?
Yes, this works. I used it successfully at the MC6pro.
I guess the MC8pro should be the same.
You need to connect the LEHLE to the host socket of the MC8pro.
Thanks Joki and beyond appreciated having a company representative chime in! Listening to the volume swells Dominic does on the new Sting 3.0 album had me sold on your volume pedals! Thanks again!
I’m looking at the Mono Volume S as well, and I was wondering the following. According to the manual, by default the pedal puts out a CC value on midi-channel 1 @ CC11. I have two questions, one for you, and the other will probably best be answered by Morningstar.
Firstly, how do you change this default?
Secondly, if I were to want to have this pedal control a different CC (or bunch of CC’s) per patch on a Morningstar MC6Pro, how would I go about it? The pedal can’t change it’s output on a per preset basis, so I’d have to take a fixed CC input, and reroute it to a different CC (or bunch of CC’s) on a per preset basis. Is this possible via the MC6Pro, or would I be better off running a Lehle Expression pedal into one of the expression inputs on the MC6Pro?
By means of our new LEHLE VERWALTER, the free online editor, you can change the midi channel, midi controller etc. www.lehle.com/verwalter
For the second question it maybe best to ask the Morningstar staff here, maybe @Morningstar ?
I know there’s a converter in their editor but that’s all I know about it.
Yes, it is if you send CC 51 on the MC’s channel it will emulate an analog expression pedal connected to omniport 1. Just set up your presets like you would if it was a regular expression pedal.
So, I set up the Lehle to output CC51 to the midi-channel of the MC6Pro itself? Ok, awesome. Is CC52 the same for omniport 2, et cetera? Or should I reserve omniport 1 for this?
