Key Switch Groups on Roland Fantom via Sysex

Update - this is now solved.

Turns out the sysex streams I found were incorrect. Downloaded a MIDI Monitor and solved it from there.

All good…

Hello…

I’ve recently purchase an MC6PRo to help control a Roland Fantom 8EX - most specifically, changing the Key Switch Groups which can only be done with System Exclusive.

I have the strings and I appear to be getting nowhere with changing anything on my Fantom.

I’ve successfully got the MC6Pro talking to my Fantom, changing Scenes. However, if I choose another preset and use the ‘Create Sysex Preset’ tool in the Editor, then try to send the preset, my fantom does not respond.

There is a filter for System Exclusive on the Fantom which I’ve ensured is set to allow receipt of the messages so that’s not the problem.

The messages I’m trying to send are:

(The KSGx at the end of each line is just a point of reference for me to show which Key Switch Group that should select with the appropriate string, and is obviously not being included when I create the preset in the Editor.)

Any tips would be greatly appreciated, as I have a gig next weekend, and this was the main thing I bought the pedal for.

Thanks, Andy
