Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with ML10X functioning properly with the MC8 Pro. I currently have my ML10X connected to the MC8 Pro but encountering issues. For instance, my presets - previously saved on the MC8 Pro - are not being recalled. The MC8 Pro was working without any issues before I connected it to the ML10X. Just wondering what issues, if any, anyone has had with their set up and how they resolved it. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Do you mean that you cannot get the ML10X to respond to the MIDI messages sent by the MC8 PRO? Or is the issue intermittent?
Is the MC8 PRO connected directly to the ML10X?
Maybe I’m interpreting your issue wrongly. Is the issue you are facing on the MC8 PRO or the ML10X? Can you share a video of the issue so I can better understand the problem?
Hi James, the issue is with the MC8 Pro. I am unable to recall presets. Can I still recall presets on the MC8 Pro while connected to the ML10X? I saved a lot of presets and I am wondering if I should simply disconnect the ML10X so that I can recall my presets again. Any assistance you can offer would be much appreciated.
Hi. I’ve just replied to your support ticket. The ML10X does not affect MIDI commands being sent from the MC8 Pro whatsoever. The issue will be due to either how the MC8 Pro is configured, how your devices are connected, MIDI channel mismatch, incorrect MC8 Pro preset messages or the connected devices have not been correctly configured for MIDI receive.
