Is USB MIDI in mirrored to MIDI through, or does it only pass through data received on the 5-pin DIN MIDI input?
My experience testing today suggests it does not get mirrored out, but I wanted to check to rule out cables or config at my end.
Different controllers in our range handle the signal differently. Products like the MC3, MC6 mkii, and MC8 have an analog route and a USB route. To get data from one side to the other, you turn on “Cross MIDI Thru” in Controller Settings → General Configuration in the editor. In the Pro devices, you have granular controls. Your General Configuration should have a dedicated MIDI Thru Settings section where you have granular controls over every input ↔ output pair, including between the analog and USB MIDI routes.
