Is this a strategy for a morningstar midi controller?

So, I saved this the other day and I thought it came from this forum and thought it seemed like a good idea. However, I cannot find it here nor anywhere on the web. That being said, would this sort of a thing work?:

“What’s a bit confusing is the interface suggests that presets are the starting point—but they are not—banks are.
Label bank 1 as home. Label bank 11 as midi pedals. Label bank 21 as song lists.
On bank one, create 2 presets — the first is a bank jump to bank 11, the second is a bank jump to bank 21. A double tap on any preset should take you back to the parent (in this case home). A long press on any button will take you home.
Bank 11 will contain bank jumps beginning on bank 31. Each of the presets in Bank 11 will represent a bank for each midi pedal where you will have 32 presets to control all aspects of that one pedal.
Create song lists the same way. A song list preset on bank 1 is a bank jump to a bank with a list of set lists. From the list of set lists, you will tap to get to a specific set list.
Program it so a tap goes forward, a double tap on any button in a bank goes to the parent bank, and a long tap on any button takes you home.
Also, gain an understanding of how toggle works.
I’m not suggesting doing this exactly—but see how it can work for you. After a long struggle — IMO it’s the method that works best.”

I like the idea of having a home page first that I can jump to other pages from and then my basic pedals on the second page and the third (and beyond) “song” presets.

This video was old when I first saw it but it shows something similar to what you describe:

I’d owned my MC8 for about a year before stumbling on this video and was struggling to even know where to start with a page layout or its application for changing sounds (at that time on an HX Stomp and two Eventide H9s). It helped me think about different ways I wanted to use my gear

Yeah, that looks very similar, thanks.
