I'm currently working on setting presets to my ideal plan, but it doesn't work as I want

As you can see on the pic below, I’ve set every default presets into position 1(toggle 1), which has a black background with an color strips that states each preset. For example, I’ve set clean preset to green, chorus to blue, drive to red etc.

But once selected(or engaged), I wanted the preset display to change into another color so it can indicate which preset I’m in. That’s why I’ve set the drive pos 1 with red strip & black background, and shift pos with red strip & orange background.

Well, there’s no problem when I use a single preset with single pc number.

But As you can See in the picture above, I want to toggle 2 pc’s with one preset with indicating which position I’m in.

I’ve spent hours to reach my ideal plan, but I can’t step further from here.

This is my current state:
when I engage the drive preset from another one, the black background turns to orange and goes to the shift position. Once I press it again, the shift pos turns to position 2, which is a different pc to my fractal.

Well It’s not that bad with using like this, but the problem starts now:

when I press at the pos 2, it turns to pos 1 which is a ‘position that states that preset is not engaged’.

My ideal plan is this:

when I press at the pos 2, then It toggles again to Shift pos, and once more to pos 2, once more to shift, … and again and again.

I know that my request is very complicated… but I don’t have an expert of mc6 pro within my region… So I’m looking foward to your reply. Thank you so much!!

Hi,
you messed up your positions.
If you want to toggle between ‘shift’ and ‘position2’ you’d have to set your ‘set toggle + shift’ message to ‘pos2’.
You’d also need a ‘toggle preset’ message set to ‘pos1’

If you engage a preset for the first time it would send whatever you’ve programmed to ‘pos1’ and then toggle the preset to ‘pos2’ after that every consecutive press would toggle between pos2 and shift.

Is that what you want?
