I either can’t find the answer here, or I don’t understand the concept well enough. I have an HX Stomp with a number of patches. I’ve made a bank where a preset changes multiple blocks to engange a one button lead tone ( boost, delay, distortion, etc. All the blocks are controlled from the MC6 doing a FS5 emulation.)
I change the HX Stomp patches from my ipad, when I scroll to the next song in the setlist, it sends a midi PC to the stomp. The Stomp patches are different, I have a Marshall, a Fender, a Vox, a JC120, and some variations on each for specific songs.
The stomp patch always comes up with the lead settings off, so the MC 6 button works fine - press to engage, press again to disengage. Move to next patch, repeat.
But, I’d like to have the MC6 switch toggle, so I have a visual indication of whether the stomp is in lead mode or not during the song. Is there a midi command that the Stomp can send to the MC6 when the patch changes to reset the Lead mode preset to off in the MC6?
It looks like it should work, but I’m not sure I understand toggle groups and toggle reset groups enough to make it happen.
I don’t at this point need a separate bank for each patch, although down the road I might do that, right now, I just want to reset the bank I’m in. I can send midi commands when the HX stomp changes to a new patch, I just dont know what to send.
