HX Stomp blocks not showing up

I’m a total newb with this so I apologize it this is totally obvious. I connected my MC6 (latest firmware) to my HX Stomp and I was expecting to see the blocks from the currently selected patch on the MC6 but I’m only seeing EMPTY. Do I have to go into the editor and create the blocks for each preset I want to control? I was assuming that, with 2 way communication going, the MC6 would get block info from the Stomp. My Stomp has MIDI+USB enabled for send and receive.

Yes, the Morningstar devices are like a blank slate. You’ll need to go in an program each footswitch to perform the specific actions. All the midi commands are at the end of the HX Stomp manual.
If you are wanting to turn on/off individual blocks, you can program the midi commands that turn on/off footswitches or create the midi commands that bypass on/off the effect blocks directly.
