Im a bit shocked to find out there is no quick way to save a preset on the ML10x? On the actual unit itself? Like holding one of the buttons or double clicking one of the buttons? Seems like a very basic thing the unit should be able to do in SIMPLE MODE. I know the unit is capable of a lot but for most players doing basic engage bypassing of loops we need a quick way to save a preset on the unit.
A cc message would also be great to save the current state of the preset.
When you make changes to an ML10X preset on the device itself, the changes overwrite your pervious settings and are saved. This is for simple presets only. Advanced presets require the use of the Editor, given the complex nature of nodal connections.
Right but making changes on the device itself is cumbersome. I have an external midi controller I would like to make quick simple mode bypass control changes on and I would like a quick way to save on the unit itself or a cc message i can send to the unit.
