How to create the universal Wah

MISSION::

I am using a Boss EV 30 pedal in omniport 3 of my MC8 Pro - to create a wah effect, on my Source Audio EQ2 pedal

Whichever current EQ2 preset is in use - i have targeted EQ band 4 to sweep the frequency.
At heel down i want to RESET the pedal back to the original EQ PRESET , by sending a PC Message to the EQ2 pedal.

I have several guitars - so I use a Counter “Current Guitar” as a global pointer - which is set by the MC8 Pro to the appropriate EQ2 PC number ehen changing guitars.

PROBLEM

I cannot access the counter message types from the expression pedal expression 3 preset. I only see send pc number on heel down. Can you add the Counter message type to the expression list.

Is there another way to do this?
