Alas I have Ran into my first Stumping😅. I’m Hoping I can use the Msg Type “CC Value Scroll” to progressively save presets on my CHASE BLISS Rev_Mode_C with one preset. This Unit Requires a CC# 111 to be sent with a CC Value = to the Pedals Preset PC# to Save to the pedal.
So If i choose MC8’s msg type” CC value Scroll”, with Scroll Type “Increase and Send” I’m Given the “Counter” option. I’m assuming the counter isn’t an actual CC Value. I’m Not sure how to interpret the counter tab i suppose. any insights on this alone will be greatly appreciated.
I don’t want to overwrite CB’s 2 original presets on the pedal. So I’d like to send CC#111 with a value of 3 on the first tap of the “ Save “ preset and then increment by one every following Tap so that every time I discover a new state I’d like to set as a preset, I just Hit “ Save” and the MC8 is ready to save the next following availble preset save CC# on the pedal. ( I know the pedal takes PC’s To actually change preset, this is for Saving a preset to the pedal)
So I’m trying to identify If this is currently the right approach and If So where within the “CC Value Scroll” options I would I designate the value we start incrementing from.
I haven’t tried to develop a “ Pedal Preset Scroll” preset yet, i’m guessing these two functions could be similar and I’ll try implementing in that fashion soon. Just didn’t want overlook this Msg Type as there are so many.
Does This Sound Doable? Am I on the right track? Did I miss a youtube video that clearly points this out?
