I’m using an external expression pedal via Omniport 3 on an MC8-Pro (firmware 3.14). My expression message scales CC7 (e.g. Min 30, Max 105) and the MIDI monitor confirms the scaled values are transmitted while the pedal moves.
However, when I send a Program Change to a UAFX Enigmatic and follow it with a Control Change using “Use Current Expression Value”, the CC uses the raw expression value (0–127), not the scaled expression value.
This results in incorrect volume CC7 volume data being sent to the Enigmatic ,meaning the new patch volume doesn’t match the Live volume that I transitioned from.
Is there any way to resend the current scaled expression value after a Program Change, or is this not currently supported?
