I have been using the MC6 Pro for a few months, and absolutely love it! After being with a similar unit that was riddled with bugs, it has been refreshing to use this almost daily for months without running into a single major hiccup.
Just a couple of things that I have found that would make my workflow a little bit easier. Maybe it’s just me, and none of this makes sense, but I figured it made sense to ask.
- A method to copy/paste multiple MIDI messages - I often want to copy multiple message from bank to bank/preset to preset and also often to forget to save the paste before going back to the original source. It would be great to be able to select multiple MIDI commands (think setting multiple values on a delay/reverb pedal) and be able to paste them all at once. Similarly, perhaps with a paste, have it automatically save the preset/bank (or at least have a setting for this) for those of us who work quickly.
- Enable/Disable Toggle for MIDI commands - Sometimes, I copy over a bank to create a new song just a few minutes before rehearsal, or sometimes I am just experimenting with a new pedal that would replace certain functions of an existing one. In those instances, I may not necessarily want all of the PC/CC message values, but I may not want to delete them either only to recreate them later. It would be helpful to have a toggle to Enable/Disable the ones I do not want to have triggered.
Just a couple of thoughts that I have had as I worked through the product over the past few months. Overall, I absolutely love the thing, and am going to be buying an ML10X eventually to eliminate the tap dancing.
