Does the MC6Pro offer increment/decrement of a counter in a 'register?'

I am using the MC6PRO to control an ML5R looper, a Fractal VP4, and a Mooer GL200 looper. I’m using a UMIDI6 MIDI router to interconnect the devices, and that is working like a champ.

The Mooer MIDI implementation allows selection of a specific memory slot, but not increment/decrement function. I hoped to find implementation of a ‘register’ in the MC6PRO which could be incremented or decremented, with the ability to use the current counter value as the value for a PC message sent to the GL200.

I’m honestly not expecting to find this option, but I would be delighted to be mistaken. If it doesn’t exist, please consider this a feature request.

Hi,
check this:

Thanks, the second method looks perfect!

So the track increment/decrement is working fine, with display of the current track… ONLY after I engage one of the +/- actions. I have the GL200 commands in their own bank, and on bank enter I set the track number to 0… but the ‘Track %E0’ display for both actions (I opted for both actions to send to the device) is blank.
Is there a way to initialize the counter to 0, or to have the action name overridden to ‘Track 0’ on bank enter? I couldn’t see a way to do that.

Adding to my question: I added an ‘Engage Preset’ action on Enter Bank, triggering the Track Down preset (with wraparound set to no). I thought it would update the counter value, but I saw no change. I’m now going to search for any docs on setting the sequence of Bank Enter actions; I thought it would be top-down serial.
