I’ve been setting up DL4 MkII on my MC8 Pro — the Morningstar editor is great, but the DL4 has a lot of parameters and figuring out the right CC values for each delay model isn’t exactly straightforward. Built a small tool that lets you dial everything in and generates the messages ready to paste.

Neat! I assume this is vibe-coded. What did you feed the chatbot and how much work did it take?
100% vibe coded. I was programming my MC8 for upcoming gigs and started with an Excel overview to track PC messages across my pedals. Once I had Excel I asked Copilot to create a tool to track the PC messages in Excel. Then I realised DL4 just work better with CC. So I had the whole prototype in Excel first. And then I thought, this could be an online tool.
Sorry, I can’t give a short answer. I did not set out to make it. I was just tracking my presets first.
But once I entered the vibe code stage, it was one day.
Gotcha. It’s pretty fun! Something similar I’ve considered is using control surface apps like MIDI Designer Pro.
