Could ML10X receive midi input from an EXP pedal to modulate the Audio signal level going in/out one of its loops

Hello,
Interested in the ML10X (if available and stabilized) I have one question : in my setup I am using a microfreak from Arturia, and unfortunately this little beast does not understant midi CC 7 or any other midi command to set its output level. So to modulate its output level I must use a dedicated volume pedal placed on its output and before my audio interface input.
If I include the microfreak in an ML10X loop, is there any way to send to ML10X from an expression pedal attached to my MC8 a midi CC control flow to modulate the input (or output ?) of this loop, and more generaly of any of its loops ?
Thanks

No, the ML10 does not send/receive any MIDI info through its 1/4 ports. It’s an audio looper only. It is possible to send the midi information from the MC8 directly to your pedal though. I can’t speak for that specific pedal and how it handles the midi exp data. Personally, I’ve used various exp pedals with the MC8 to control midi data on several pedals successfully.

Thanks but I am not sure that you have understood my question.
Not trying some impossible thing with 1/4 ports, simply using USB or DIN midi ports linked to MC8.
Concerning MCxx usage, I know from years.

I will wait @james answer.

Short answer is yes - if the midi device sends the right information to trigger the loops. I can imagine foot back sending a message (for example) for loop 1 on plus loop and loop 2 off; foot forward sending a message to turn loop 1 off and loop 2 on.

There is no volume control implemented, if you REALLY need real time midi control of the output level I’d recommend a midi capable eq like the Boss 200 or one of the Source Audio eqs. There are also some custom builders out there who could build a midi volume pedal for you.

The ML10X does not have hardware in each loop to control volume.

Ok, thanks, dommage but still interesting device.
